Reiki training course for Carers

This is a course option for those who are specifically wishing to use the healing modality of Reiki to support themselves and those they care for. It is aimed at those who spend most of their own life caring for the needs of another, who may have a disability and care needs on many levels. This is a course at Reiki Level 2 and is for individuals who have completed Level 1 in the past. My Level 1 course can be offered half price to those who come into this Carers category; you will need to contact me first, to discuss, so that it can be arranged. This course can be used by professional Carers and Teachers or Group Leaders.

Maybe you are a Parent/Carer to one or more of your children or grown-up children, they may have significant cognitive or physical challenges. Perhaps they have extreme behavioural difficulties with social, emotional and mental health issues…or you may all be suffering sleeplessness, poor health, fatigue, despair, isolation, poverty and lack of faith due to the impact of your care role and the differences in your lives. Or, perhaps you are a Sibling Carer or find yourself caring for a very elderly relative at home. You might be at the end-of-life stage with a loved one who is life-limited by illness. This course can also aid those who work with individuals who need care. Reiki can be used by those working in care homes, special schools and colleges, hospice care, therapy and medicine.

People who experience more severe learning difficulties and cognitive, behavioral and sensory challenges, will find it almost impossible to sit or lie still for regular treatments. They may, depending on verbal ability, also not be able to take part in therapy whereby a level of conversation and sharing is needed. Therefore, Reiki is the only holistic therapy available that can be accessed by those with such difficulties. It can assist the recipient to release trauma and pain through the subtle energy system, working in the information field to trust that the frequencies can clear what cannot be identified by regular means. Treatment can be given without touching and even from a distance. At Level 2, we can use Reiki to creatively explore many treatment options to support such cases.

This is also an important tool for keeping the Carer well, happy, balanced and clear of depleting energies. When we are in optimum health we are more fully present with those around us and more intuitive to their needs. This course includes all the sections listed on the regular Level 2 course, plus:
